Maureen has a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Majoring in Marketing and minoring in Psychology.

Maureen was also a Guest Professor in Marketing at Nassau Community College, lecturing on dating and relationships, and conducted a Seminar, “How to meet Mr./Ms. Right the easy way”, at the Long Island Singles Expo in October 2007, followed by “How to meet Mr./Ms. Right Part II” in October 2008 and Part III in November 2009.

For the past three years The Best Matchmaker conducts a yearly seminar for the 50 & over fair, “Improving your love life after 50”, as well as sponsoring their singles lounge. Maureen has been asked to make many seminars on dating and relationships across Long Island for the past 10 years.

Maureen is a member of The Melville Chamber of Commerce and of the Irish Business Network. Maureen also participates in many charitable organizations, such as “Dress for Success”, “The Harvest Charitable Society,” & “Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.”

Once again we have been honored by our friends over at Bethpage, only this time we have flown the nest and received their coveted ‘Best in City’ award for our Matchmaking services in Manhattan. Like Bethpage themselves, while our services were once only available in Long Island, we have expanded and are lucky to be recognized for our work in NYC, where we hope to continue delivering outstanding services for years to come.

We are honored to have been awarded Dan’s Paper’s ‘Best of the Best’ award for our Matchmaking services, delivered with acclaim to the people of Long Island. Dan’s is a Long Island institution with well over half a century of history serving the community day in and day out. To be honored by such a well-respected organization is deeply humbling, and all of the team at MTN are ecstatic to have been honored in this way. As ever, we don’t like to rest on our laurels and so MTN will gratefully continue to show that we are deserving of these awards and will continue to deliver executive-level services across Long Island and beyond.

This year MTN has been incredibly lucky to have not only been named ‘Best in City’ by Bethpage, but also ‘Best of Long Island’ once again. We are, of course, incredibly excited to see that our expanded services are all delivering the exceptional quality of Matchmaking that we pride ourselves on, and we are forever grateful to the nominators and voters of these awards for their continued support of our never-ending mission to find people the love story they deserve.

We carry on our winning streak as we continue to deliver high-quality, compassionate Matchmaking services to the singles of Long Island.
