Dating in 2019 is Hard
Finding new ideas for unique dates is extremely hard. You must be creative with your heart. Yes, a picnic in the park can never go wrong. But what I’m looking for is something that will knock the socks off your date.
- A Small Trip to NYC: Go to Central Park East, visit the ponds, meadows, and foliage, but stop at the Le Pain Quotidien Cafe near E 74th St for a nice snack and perhaps a drink. It’s the perfect spot to sit, enjoy a meal, and gaze into the beauty of Central Park.
- Go to Jamesport Farm Brewery in Riverhead (approx. 45+ mins of travel): Jamesport was voted the best brewery on Long Island by TipSavvy.com! It’s home to the annual Fresh Hop Festival and is smack dab in the middle of Long Island’s wine trail. It’s the perfect opportunity to try new things, and venture into the world of the east end. Nearby is the famous Hob’s Corn and Pie shop that makes the sweetest ‘going home’ present at the end of the day.
- Enjoy Nature! Go to one of New York’s fabulous Botanical Gardens and spend the day with butterflies in the air, and your stomach. The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is the brightest spot in all of New York to soak in all the nature you can get your hands on. Don’t let one of New York’s most prized possessions go to waste!
